Notice of Waiver of Oral Argument (Limited Civil Case)

This form is used to tell the court that you want to give up your chance to speak and argue your case in person during an appeal. It is for limited civil cases only.
The court describes it as: Tell the court that you want to waive (give up) your chance to make your arguments about the appeal to the judges of the appellate division in person.

- If all parties file this form and the court accepts it, the court might remove the oral argument from the calendar. The court will then decide the appeal based on the written documents and records submitted.
- Is there a deadline for filing this?
- Parties may file this notice within 7 days after the notice of oral argument is sent out.
